SAN DIEGO – MAY 19, 2019– The San Diego Strike Force (1-10) fell to the Arizona Rattlers (10-0) by a final score of 84-63 on Sunday night at home.

Strike Force quarterback Jihad Vercher went 19-35 for 164 yards and six touchdowns. Vercher also had eight carries for 31 yards.

Strike Force rushing touchdowns were scored by wide receiver Marques Rodgers and running back Dominique Carson. Offensive lineman Zian Jones recovered a fumble for a 48-yard touchdown. Running back George Moreira Jr. had 36 yards on one rush.

Carson led the Strike Force in receptions (5), receiving yards (53) and receiving touchdowns (2). Wide receivers Rodgers and Julian Stafford each had four catches in the game. Stafford, running back Rashad Ridley, Moreira Jr. and wide receiver David Carter also each had a receiving touchdown in the game.

Arizona quarterback Drew Powell went 12-17 for 152 yards and four touchdowns.

Powell also led the Rattlers in rushing with 104 yards on 11 carries and five touchdowns. Running back Jabre Lolley and offensive lineman Lamar Mady each contributed a rushing touchdown in the game.

Rattlers running back/wide receiver Jamal Miles led the team with five receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns. Lolley and wide receiver Donta Armstrong each had a receiving touchdown in the game.

The Strike Force have a Week 14 bye and then resume action on the road to face the Sioux Falls Storm on Saturday, June 1 at 5:05 p.m.
