GAME PREVIEW - WEEK 17 @ ARIZONA

The San Diego Strike Force (1-12) will face the Arizona Rattlers (13-0) in Phoenix for the final regular-season game of the team’s inaugural season on Saturday, June 15 at 5 p.m. PT at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. The game will be streamed live on the IFL’s YouTube page.

GAME PREVIEW 

SAN DIEGO – JUNE 12, 2019– The San Diego Strike Force will face the league-leading Arizona Rattlers this weekend in Phoenix.

The Strike Force enter Week 17 following a 54-26 home loss to the Nebraska Danger on June 6.

In the last home game of the team’s inaugural season, Strike Force quarterback Jihad Vercher went 15-29 for 140 yards and two touchdowns.

San Diego wide receiver Julian Stafford reeled in four catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Victor Dean Jr. had two catches for 18 yards and a touchdown.

Strike Force running back Dominique Carson carried the ball 10 times for 44 yards and a touchdown. Wide receiver Marques Rodgers contributed 10 rushing yards on two attempts for one touchdown.

The Rattlers enter this weekend following a 50-49 overtime win against the Tucson Sugar Skills on June 8.

In the win, Arizona quarterback Drew Powell went 13-20 for 158 yards in the air and one touchdown.

Rattlers wide receiver Dez Stewart had four catches for 55 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Jabre Lolley and wide receiver Anthony Amos each contributed a receiving touchdown as well.

Stewart also contributed a rushing touchdown with four yards on three attempts. Wide receiver Jarrod Harrington carried the ball one time for seven yards and a touchdown.

This weekend will be the fourth all-time meeting between the two teams. Arizona won the previous three matchups.

The game between the Strike Force and Rattlers will be played on Saturday, June 15 at 5 p.m. PT at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix and will be streamed live on the IFL’s YouTube page.
