SAN DIEGO – MAY 10, 2019– The San Diego Strike Force today announced that they will host Hometown Superheroes Night in partnership with The Salvation Army Kroc Center on Sunday, May 19 when the team faces the Arizona Rattlers at 5:05 p.m. at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

For each ticket purchased at sdstrikeforce.com/kroc, $5 will be donated to the Kroc Center (6845 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92115) and their HEROES Program and Scholarship Campaign, which allows children, families and seniors to participate in life-changing programs regardless of their ability to pay.

The Strike Force will recognize area first responders at the game, including fire, police, paramedics and social service professionals. Those individuals can claim a free ticket to the game by visiting sdstrikeforce.com/hometown, and their family and friends can purchase tickets at a discounted rate through the link, with a portion of proceeds also benefitting the Kroc Center.

“Working with community groups such as The Salvation Army Kroc Center is a great opportunity for our team and a huge emphasis for our organization,” said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. “We’re excited to welcome them out for a game night and support the HEROES Program, plus recognize the first responders of our community with a free ticket to the game and get them involved in supporting the center as well.”

Kroc Center mascot “RJ Kroc” will be in attendance as the honorary team captain to perform the coin toss, and Kroc Center families and friends will participate in various game night activities to highlight and bring awareness to the HEROES Program and Scholarship Campaign. Fans in attendance will also have a chance to win a free day pass to the Kroc Center through a number of in-game contests and promotional opportunities.
