The Strike Force have signed offensive running back Nathaniel Chavious to their 2020 Indoor Football League roster.

Chavious (5-10, 210, Sacred Heart) joins the Strike Force for his second season in the IFL after being acquired as a Restricted Free Agent from the Cedar Rapids River Kings. In 2019, he saw action in 14 games and ended the season ranked sixth in the IFL with 1,256 all-purpose yards. The top two spots in the league were held by his soon to be San Diego teammates, Marques Rodgers (2299) and Marquel Wade (1567).

During his rookie season, Nate’s production included 112 rushes for 395 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also added 20 receptions for 162 yards and 699 kick returns yards on 34 attempts with two scores.

“Nate is a talented playmaker with the ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game,” said Strike Force General Manager Ryan Eucker. “His experience last season will be greatly beneficial, and we’re excited to add him to what’s shaping up to be an explosive group of offensive weapons on our 2020 roster.”

Chavious came to the IFL from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, leaving his mark in the football program after totaling 3,715 all-purpose yards and averaging 5.5 yards per carry. He sits second in school history for yards, carries, and was a two-time NEC (Northeast Conference) Champion. Nate is originally from Bellport, New York and attended Bellport High School.
